Six Quality Criteria for Full-color LED Display Screen

The quality of a full-color LED display screen is not clear to the general buyers. How can we quickly judge the quality of the full-color LED display screen? To this end, the technical engineers of Star Color Technology have summarized six quality criteria for full-color LED display screen, which are only for reference, hoping to help you!

1. The quality of flatness is mainly determined by the production process. The smoothness of the full-color LED display should be within (+1 mm) in order to ensure that the display image does not distort. Local protrusion or concave will cause the dead angle of the full-color LED display.

2. The brightness is mainly determined by the quality of the LED core. Brightness and visual angle of indoor full-color screen should be more than 800 cd/m2, outdoor full-color screen should be more than 1500 cd/m2, in order to ensure the normal operation of full-color LED display screen, otherwise, because the brightness is too low to see the displayed image. The size of the visual angle is mainly determined by the encapsulation method of the core. The viewing angle directly determines the audience of full-color LED display, so the bigger the better.

3. The quality of white balance is mainly determined by the control system of full-color LED display screen, and the core of the tube also has an effect on the reducibility of color. White balance effect is one of the most important indicators of full-color LED display. In color science, when the ratio of red, green and blue is 1:4.6:0.16, pure white will appear. If the actual proportion deviates a little, there will be a deviation of white balance. Generally, we should pay attention to whether white is biased towards blue or yellow-green.

4. The reducibility of color refers to the reducibility of full-color LED display to color, that is, the color displayed on full-color LED display should be highly consistent with the color of the playback source, so as to ensure the authenticity of the image.

5. Deadlock point refers to a single point that appears often bright or dark on full-color LED display screen. The number of dead points is mainly determined by the quality of the tube core. Whether there is a dead-point phenomenon mosaic refers to the bright or dark small square on the full-color LED display screen, that is, module necrosis. The main reason is that the quality of the connectors used in the full-color LED display screen is not good enough.

6. Colored block refers to the obvious color difference between adjacent modules. The color transition is based on the module. The phenomenon of color block is mainly caused by poor control system, low gray level and low scanning frequency. When considering the cost-performance ratio of indoor full-color LED display screen comprehensively, the point spacing can not be ignored. Essential factor.

Generally speaking, the dot spacing of full-color LED display is not only closely related to the display accuracy, viewing distance and application site of the screen, but also one of the determinants of the price of full-color LED display. The smaller the dot spacing, the higher the price naturally, the better the effect of the corresponding LED screen.
